The North County Food Pantry in Elk is sponsoring an “Elk Community Blood Drive” on Friday, July 7th from 3-6pm at 40015A N Collins Rd. They are located across the street from the Elk Cemetery, and behind the Country Church of the Open Bible on parking lot on Elk-Chatteroy Rd. Look for the bright “Vitalant Mobile Unit” parked in front of the Pantry. There will be volunteers there to make your donation go smooth. Sign up on your phone with Vitalant by downloading and using their mobile app. Or, checkout their website at www.vitalant.org to schedule a convenient appointment time. GARDEN FEST
SAT - MAY 20th, 2023
GardenFest event in late May. We distributed hundreds of vegetable starts that had been sprouted in our greenhouse during the cold winter months. The festivities that day also included activities for children, a picnic lunch, and distribution of milk, spaghetti sauce and tuna.
